Changes to Shooting Badges

With immediate effect, the shooting badges available to members of the Royal Air Force Air Cadets are changing…

While any existing badges may continue to be worn without an expiration date, any newly-qualfied target shooters will receive one of just 4 badges, down from 16.

Badge award is now based solely upon the skill displayed, rather than further accounting for the rifle used. Placement of shooting badges on the brassard remains unchanged.

The new badges are consolidated into a set of four, each differentiated both by coloured accents and design.
