Three Take Flight

Last week, three cadets from 1324 (Hawker Blackburn) Squadron took to the skies on an Air Experience Flight in Grob Tutors of the Royal Air Force.

Cadets Reuben, Atkinson, & Butterill travelled to RAF Leeming, Northallerton where they flew with experienced RAF pilots and put their previous ground-based lessons to practice.

“We all really enjoyed the day from the start. We got to watch one hawk aircraft take off and another do an ‘touch and go’. Whilst we waited for our chance to fly, we got to know a few of the cadets from a different squadron. The experience of flying was amazing. It was a great opportunity to have taken!”
